  5. This is a PRE-RELEASE BETA TEST VERSION.  The release version
  6. (WinZip Self-Extractor 2.1) is available from the WinZip web site
  7. at http://www.winzip.com.

  11. WinZip Self-Extractor is a companion product for WinZip, an
  12. award-winning utility that brings the convenience of Windows to
  13. the use of ZIP files.  For program details please see the
  14. online documentation or the WINZIPSE.TXT file.

  16. *** Installation ***
  17.  
  18.     Installation from a floppy disk:  If you received WinZip
  19.     Self-Extractor on a disk from Nico Mak Computing, Inc. please
  20.     follow the installation instructions on the disk label.
  21.  
  22.     Installation the evaluation version:  The evaluation version
  23.     of WinZip Self-Extractor is distributed as a self-extracting
  24.     ZIP file.  To install it, run the self-extracting ZIP file.
  25.     For example, if you received the program in the self-
  26.     extracting ZIP file downloaded as C:\DNLOAD\WZIPSE21.EXE,
  27.     activate the Program Manager, choose Run from the File menu,
  28.     type C:\DNLOAD\WZIPSE21, and press the Enter key.  The SETUP
  29.     program will automatically be run.

  33.     WinZip Self-Extractor requires Windows 95, 98, Windows NT 4.0,
  34.     or Windows 3.1 and a program like WinZip or PKZIP to create Zip
  35.     files.  Some features require Windows 95 or later.  See the
  36.     documentation for details.
